Nevena's Story
While in music high school, Nevena rose to prominence as one of three finalists of the famous competition in Serbia, "First Voice of Serbia." After her first song release in 2012 and multiple international tours, Nevena decided to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston. She performed in leading roles at Berklee and venues such as Gotham Hall, Symphony Space, Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, Road Runner, Berklee Performance Center, and First Church in Boston. In 2018, Nevena signed her first record deal with "Town Hill Colony," a record label from Boston. In collaboration with the record label, Nevena has released three original songs and continued performing in the US and Serbia to this day. In 2019, Nevena decided to share her knowledge and experience with the larger masses by founding "Monody Music School" in Boston. Due to students' remarkable results, the school started growing exponentially, offering lessons in three different locations: Los Angeles, Boston, US, and Belgrade, Serbia. In 2021, Nevena was contacted and signed by "Frontiers," an internationally well-known record label. With "Frontiers," and in collaboration with a Swedish songwriter and producer, Mike Palace, Nevena released a self-titled album, "Nevena".
